Panasonic's fully loaded men's wet/dry washable electric shavers are packed with smart, innovative features that deliver a remarkably close and comfortable shave. The ES-LA63-S is a four-blade (Arc 4) shaving system, which means more foils for better coverage and reduced shaving time. Hypoallergenic blades and foils cause less irritation and are best for sensitive skin. Panasonic men's electric shavers feature 30-degree-angle Nanotech blades to cut hair at its base for close, accurate precision. Along with the Multi-Flex active head, the shaver glides uniformly along the contours of the face and covering the chin, jaw line and sideburns while providing maximum comfort. The world's fastest 14,000 CPM linear motor eliminates tugging and pulling that can occur with slower shavers. This electric razor maintains peak power right up to the end of the charge, to ensure a consistently close shave. ES-LA63-S men's electric four-blade (Arc 4) shaving system comes equipped with a travel pouch, a 10-stage LCD display, a travel lock switch, and a pop-up trimmer. Optional accessories include: foil (WES9165PC), blade (WES9068PC) and combo set (WES9025PC). The shaving system weighs 7.1 ounces and measures 2 by 2.8 by 6.3 inches (LxWxH).

Background:About 15 years ago I tried all kinds of electric razors (not Panasonic though). Then, the winner was Braun. It was the only shaver that I didn't have to go over a blade with afterwards. I've used every iteration of Braun (their top of the line ones) since then until their current model. (Remingtons are junk, Norelco pulled hair and never gave me a clean shave, it missed thicker hairs, there were other brands, etc). So I will basically compare the performance of this shaver to the newish (1.5 year old Braun Pulsonic self cleaning shaver which I've used exclusively until now). A little background about me that is important for this review is that I have fast growing thick beard. I can shave more than twice a day and have a 5 o'clock shadow. And on top of that I cut myself if I used a manual razor. I have cut myself with electric razors too (I don't even know how that's possible). So that out of the way, I can start the review. I was sckeptical an electric razor could do the job for me.Immediately after starting to use this product I was impressed.
